#1. If a driver is required to hook up a trailer a t a remote location, the driver should:

Perform a vehicle inspection; if there is a safety defect, report the condition to the operator and do not move the vehicle until the safety defect has been repaired?

Hook up and immediately start trip?

Perform a vehicle inspection; record the result and start the trip regardless of the condition of the trailer?

Perform a vehicle inspection; if there is a safety defect, leave the trailer and return to his terminal.
